The Summer Update posted to the SCC webpage indicates that non-members will no longer be able to use the clubhouse or pool, effective this October 1st. When was this rule changed? Was it raised to general membership for input or voting before it was changed? Availability of these facilities to rental guests was one of things that attracted us to invest in Snowline vs Mt Baker Rim.
Over the last several months a committee of Snowline members, with the assistance of a Bellingham attorney, have been working on preparing a set of bylaws for our community. New by-laws have now been written and the Board of Directors will be bringing them forward for a vote at the next AGM in October. A copy of the proposed new by-laws as well as recommended changes to the community covenants and a backgrounder article are available for review below and in the Members Only section of the website. @Forest Payne from what the minutes describe it is a moratorium while a path forward is figured out. There is a sizeable chunk of time set aside at the annual meeting in October for a larger rentals discussion.
