Whatcom County Fire Marshal’s Office (WCFMO) has implemented a Stage 1 burn ban.
The Snowline Board's policy is that once any burn ban goes into effect, all campfires and wood-burning fires in Snowline are prohibited to reduce the risk of wildfires. Any violation of this ban will result in an immediate fine.
FOR owners who have guests
For owners who have guests staying overnight (when the owner is not there):

Complete the Owner Contact, Member & Billing Information [Form #003] before your guests arrive, and submit a completed Form 2 Rental & Guest Registration before check-in. This form can be completed on the portal here.

Form #002 Rental & Guest Registration is not the guest's responsibility. Select "Non-paying Guest" when completing the form.

Effective February 1, 2025, Form #002 is only available on the portal, as communicated previously.

Owners are responsible for any damages caused by their guests or fines incurred by their guests.

Tents, trailers, mobile homes or recreational vehicles shall not be stored on Snowline lots or common property and shall not be used as temporary or permanent housing.

We recommend the housekeeper or owner dispose of garbage and recyclables. If guests do it during their stay, ensure they know how to do it properly.

Provide sufficient directions to your cabin in print or by providing offline. Download the Snowline map with lot number and address cross-reference for use with your guests.

Make sure your guests have the Snowline Rules and Regulations and are familiar with expectations for the Snowline community.

Provide guests with clear instructions prior to their arrival, particularly with regard to:

Limited to no cell service.

Directions to Glacier, Snowline, and how to get to cabin once within Snowline.

Directions on how to get through the Snowline gate and how to open the cabin door.

How to retrieve gate fobs/cards, and/or get buzzed in from the gate intercom.

Please note: Snowline Resident Manager and employees are not available to assist with the following: opening the gate, finding or accessing a cabin.
