COVID-19 Update

Effective 3/21/2020.

Out of an abundance of caution for our members and their families, and to participate in the collective efforts to slow and stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Snowline Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to temporarily close our community facilities and amenities until further notice. These include the clubhouse including washrooms, playground, pickleball court, basketball court and tether ball.

Is there an update to this temporary decision considering the State is moving into Phase 2? Thanks. (i posted a longer question in the general forum).

Snowline Emergency Preparedness

If there is an emergency or disaster what do you do and how do you stay safe? On July 11th I attended a “Map Your Neighborhood” meeting at Graham’s. The meeting was sponsored by Whatcom Unified Emergency Coordination Center. http://www.whatcomready.org/

The 90 minute presentation described how neighbors help neighbors by being prepared. An Emergency Preparedness guide was handed out. It covered the 9 steps for immediately a disaster, Personal disaster kit, Under-the- bed items, Storing water, and more.

If you are interested in being involved in Snowline Emergency Preparedness comment to this post. If there is enough response the board will setup a meeting and get a county representative to help us get prepared.
