And so it continues. It has been suggested that we should charge for guests. I let this member know that she is welcome to bring her guests/renters and that there would be no charge.
This event is held for children! It would be appreciated if people with nothing constructive to say kept their rude comments to themselves.

I spoke at the AGM yesterday because I wanted to better understand comments from you, Marcel and others about not returning to the board or volunteer roles due to growing negativity.
As a second-generation member and former board member, I’m genuinely concerned about the hostility, aggression and criticism directed at volunteers. It’s disheartening to see this behavior pushing away long-time volunteers who have given so much of their time, talent, and positive energy to support and strengthen our community.
I don’t have an easy answer. Constructive feedback is always welcome, but constant complaints and personal attacks don’t strengthen our community. Some individuals repeatedly criticize, assume negative intent, and rarely offer to help or contribute positively.
We teach our kids to stand up to bullies in school — maybe it’s time we do the same here in our HOA. We can't ignore bad behavior — people need to be held accountable.
