Note to the Board to splitting amendments into categories
I have a strong recommendation to the board and I hope they reply to this post.
I feel the amendments at this point have a strong possiblity of being voted down. I see some of these amendments are fairly benign and need to be passed. Others regarding property rights should be voted on separately.
By separating the amendments into groups, the board can see where more work needs to be done and what amendments can move forward. The attorney stated this is possible but it would require board action.
If the amendments are voted on as a block, I will continue to vote NO and enourage others the do the same. This is not a reflection of the boards efforts or intent. I appreciate their efforts but I do think the amendments as a block are not acceptable.

Totally agree. I think the board can find the members much more willing to not only approve some amendments but also find volunteers to help come up with solutions. I would hope it might keep the tensions low and the community stronger.
