ZIPLY

Hi folks:


After spending an hour on ZIPLY chat and 20 min on the phone with them today - and being told "Don't worry your address is on the ZIPLY Fiber expansion list" and receiving no real justification for why our internet went up again -- I've started looking into who/what we can complain to about this. Some limited research recommend a public complaint here: https://www.atg.wa.gov/safeguarding-consumers


Please note! I know there is work being done by the Board on this very topic! My primary concern at this point is ZIPLY is raising our rates, our services is getting worse (at least at our cabin) and there is nothing ZIPLY is going about it. Currently we pay double for ZIPLY DSL as compared to Fiber in Seattle. I realize it's not an apples to apples comparison but it's a data point worth discussing.

Thanks for all the info! Underground Cable just finished installing cable from the road. We have been having major problems with DSL (no internet speed) and the DSL tech said he did not see cable in the hub so I am sure the cable is not live that Underground Net placed. My neighbor across the street is also having 0 internet speeds on DSL. :(


I asked what other places Underground Cable had on their list and they said I was the only one. Underground Cable is a sub contractor to the sub contractor Pacific Cable who is sub contractor for Ziply. EGADS!
